Next, depending on your situation you may be able to claim a tax deduction for your home office space. For example, in the United States, if your business uses a certain percentage of your home, you are allowed to write off a portion of your mortgage or rent payments.
Get a calendar. A weekly, or monthly, calendar can be extremely useful to you. You’ll use your calendar to record and track goals, important deadlines, etc. You can reference your calendar when constructing “To Do” lists, for example. Many internet marketers swear by calendar use because it keeps them from taking on more work than they can handle and over extending themselves. Calendars will also help you to keep your priorities straight. It sounds old fashioned but there is a reason that calendars are still around: they work!
Before you begin a new project, it’s helpful to make an outline for it. When writing your daily ‘to do’ lists, refer to your project outlines, and then you’ll see exactly what needs to be done next to keep the project moving. You’ll never have to wonder about what’s next with your projects if you spend a little time doing this.
